Fulcrum Pvt Ltd is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled MIS Executive / Advanced Excel Specialist with at least four years of experience to join our Finance Department located in DHA, Karachi. This role demands a professional who excels in managing and analyzing large volumes of data, preparing comprehensive reports, and delivering actionable business insights through advanced Excel techniques. The specialist will be responsible for creating professional dashboards, automating reporting processes, and ensuring the accuracy and confidentiality of sensitive company data. The position entails coordinating closely with various departments to gather necessary data and provide meaningful analysis to support informed business decisions. In addition to strong technical expertise in Excel including VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and advanced formulas, the candidate will oversee a small team comprising one member, guiding their efforts in data management and reporting. This supervisory aspect requires leadership skills to manage workflow efficiently, ensuring all data-related tasks meet quality standards. The MIS Executive / Advanced Excel Specialist plays a critical role in enhancing the reporting framework by implementing automation techniques such as VBA macros and Power Query, thereby driving continuous improvements in data reporting and visualization.
Responsibilities
 

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly Management Information System (MIS) reports to support business operations and decision-making.
  • Manage and analyze large datasets using advanced Excel skills to identify trends, patterns, and insights relevant to business functions.
  • Develop and maintain professional dashboards and custom reporting formats tailored to managements requirements.
  • Create and utilize Pivot Tables, Pivot Charts, and advanced formulas such as VLOOKUP, INDEX & MATCH, SUMIFS, and COUNTIFS to enhance data analysis capabilities.
  • Perform rigorous data cleaning, validation, and formatting to ensure high data quality and reliability.
  • Utilize conditional formatting and data validation rules to improve report accuracy and readability.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and integrity of all company data throughout data handling and reporting processes.
  • Generate performance and operational reports that provide actionable insights to management for strategic planning.
  • Lead improvements in reporting automation by developing and implementing VBA scripts, Macros, and Power Query techniques.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with different departments to collect accurate and timely data necessary for comprehensive reporting.
  • Supervise and mentor a junior team member by assigning tasks, conducting reviews, and providing technical guidance on Excel functionalities and data management.
  • Continuously monitor and enhance existing MIS processes to increase efficiency, accuracy, and ease of use.
