Chughtai Healthcare seeks a highly skilled Occupational Health Physician with a minimum of five years of experience to oversee the health and safety of employees within industrial and manufacturing environments. The successful candidate will bring expertise in occupational medicine and workplace safety to assess, manage, and promote employee health through clinical evaluation, injury management, and comprehensive health surveillance programs. This role demands a physician with a solid understanding of occupational health regulations, including ISO 14155 and OSHA standards, and the ability to ensure compliance in all health and safety practices. The Occupational Health Physician will design and implement clinical trial protocols and manage clinical data systems to maintain high-quality health management practices. In this leadership position at Chughtai Healthcare, the Occupational Health Physician is responsible for managing a dedicated team of three professionals focused on health and safety initiatives. The role involves conducting hazard-based assessments such as noise exposure, ergonomics, and industrial hygiene to mitigate risks and enhance workplace safety. The physician will also lead safety training and education programs and utilize Safety Management Systems (SMS) to maintain robust health and safety compliance. This position requires a valid MBBS degree with PMDC license and a strong commitment to applying occupational health expertise to improve employee wellness and organizational safety standards.
Responsibilities
 

  • Conduct thorough clinical evaluations and injury management for employees to ensure rapid recovery and safe return to work.
  • Develop and implement employee health surveillance programs tailored to industrial and manufacturing settings.
  • Perform hazard-based assessments, including noise level measurements, ergonomic evaluations, and industrial hygiene inspections to identify occupational risks.
  • Ensure compliance with occupational health standards, including Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations and ISO 14155 guidelines.
  • Design and oversee the execution of clinical trial protocols related to occupational health to support evidence-based safety interventions.
  • Manage clinical data systems and quality management systems to monitor health outcomes and maintain accurate medical records.
  • Lead safety training and education initiatives to promote awareness and proactive health management among employees.
  • Utilize Safety Management Systems (SMS) to strengthen workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with management to integrate health and safety objectives with operational goals and enhance organizational compliance.
  • Supervise and guide a team of three healthcare professionals, fostering a collaborative approach to occupational health challenges.
  • Stay updated on current practices and regulatory changes in occupational health to continuously improve workplace safety standards.
  • Provide expert medical advice on workplace modifications and preventive health measures to reduce occupational hazards.
  • Evaluate and report on workplace incidents and develop strategies to prevent recurrence.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address complex occupational health issues and optimize employee well-being.
