Powerhouse Operations Supervisor - Assistant Manager

About the Role

Gatron (Industries) Limited, a leading manufacturing organization in Pakistan, is seeking a Powerhouse Operations Incharge to oversee and optimize utility and power operations at our plant in HUB Chowki.

This role is responsible for ensuring reliable, efficient, and compliant operation of all powerhouse equipment, while driving continuous improvement in operational performance, cost optimization, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of powerhouse equipment, ensuring safe and uninterrupted performance
• Monitor plant conditions (leakages, abnormal sounds, temperature/pressure deviations) and ensure timely resolution of abnormalities
• Coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams for breakdown resolution and preventive actions
• Plan and manage shift operations, ensuring optimal resource utilization and cost efficiency
• Review and track preventive maintenance schedules and ensure timely execution
• Analyze breakdowns and identify root causes to improve equipment reliability
• Monitor fuel, energy consumption, and utility performance; review monthly energy and gas reports
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards, SOPs, and regulatory requirements
• Supervise team performance, discipline, and overtime control
• Contribute to development and improvement of SOPs, work instructions, and operational processes
• Support audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Qualification: DAE / B-Tech in Mechanical, Energy, Chemical, or related field
• Experience: 3–5 years of relevant experience in powerhouse or utilities operations (manufacturing preferred)
• Strong understanding of utility systems, preventive maintenance, and safety standards
• Good coordination, problem-solving, and team management skills
