Job Description

Metatex is seeking a dedicated Printing Manager to lead and oversee the rotogravure printing operations. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in printing processes and quality control, ensuring high standards of production while maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations. This role requires managing a team of 40 individuals, promoting a disciplined and efficient work environment that meets stringent deadlines and production goals. The Printing Manager will troubleshoot issues during production and coordinate all aspects of ink management, color matching, and cylinder handling to deliver superior print quality. The successful candidate plays a critical role in maintaining operational excellence by monitoring quality standards, optimizing printing workflows, and enforcing safety protocols on the production floor. Effective communication and problem-solving skills are essential to manage the team and resolve production challenges swiftly. Responsibilities
 

• Lead and supervise a team of 40 print production staff to ensure smooth rotogravure printing operations.
• Oversee the entire printing process including ink management, cylinder handling, and color matching to maintain high quality standards.
• Implement and enforce health and safety compliance protocols on the production floor to ensure a safe working environment.
• Monitor production control metrics and adjust workflows to meet deadlines and optimize efficiency.
• Perform quality control checks regularly to identify and address potential issues before they affect output.
• Troubleshoot printing process problems promptly to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
• Maintain discipline and order on the production floor, fostering a professional workplace culture.
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate materials and schedules for uninterrupted production.
• Develop and conduct training for team members on printing techniques, quality standards, and safety practices.
• Prepare reports on production performance, safety incidents, and process improvements for senior management.
