Job Description

Encoders is seeking an experienced Research Publisher to join our dynamic team in a full-time, on-site role. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully publishing research papers in reputable indexed journals such as Scopus, WOS, ISI, SSCI, SCI, or SCIE. This position requires strong leadership skills and hands-on experience managing the entire publication process from manuscript preparation to final indexing. The candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of research publications while collaborating closely with various internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:
- Take full ownership of the research publication process, including writing, preparing manuscripts, selecting appropriate journals, submitting papers, managing revisions, and ensuring successful indexing.
- Ensure all publications comply with journal guidelines and uphold the highest ethical and academic standards.
- Liaise effectively with editorial boards, reviewers, and journal representatives to facilitate smooth publication workflows.
- Collaborate closely with sales and academic writing teams to meet client requirements comprehensively. Provide guidance and regular training to junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Maintain transparency in publication practices and ensure timely delivery of results.
- Provide weekly departmental progress reports and updates directly to the CEO.

Required Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in publishing research articles in indexed journals such as Scopus, ISI, WOS, SSCI, SCI, or SCIE.
- Strong understanding of research ethics, formatting guidelines, and publication standards.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work effectively under deadlines and handle pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Information:
- Experience working in a software house or IT services company in a research-related role is highly desirable.
- This is a full-time, on-site position requiring physical presence at the workplace.
