Department: Supply Chain/ Procurement

About the role

We are looking for a proactive and organized Purchase Officer to support procurement operations by ensuring timely purchasing of materials, supplies, and equipment. The role requires close coordination with internal departments and vendors to maintain uninterrupted supply and efficient purchasing processes.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain purchase order records, track follow-ups, and prepare overdue reports.
  • Coordinate with production/planning teams to monitor shortages of raw materials.
  • Obtain quotations from suppliers and prepare comparative price analyses.
  • Review supplier invoices before payment processing.
  • Handle emergency and urgent purchases, including promotional items.
  • Follow up with vendors for timely delivery of supplies.
  • Supplier performance evaluation and vendor development.
  • Search for alternate vendors and material sources.
  • Maintain updated approved vendor lists and supplier records.
  • Prepare procurement-related documentation and reports.
  • Perform routine procurement activities.

Requirements

  • Minimum Graduate degree (preferable specialization in Supply Chain)
  • 1–2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong vendor coordination and relationship management.
  • Good negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office & computer applications.
