Springline Advisory, a premier consulting firm providing strategic advisory and operational solutions, is seeking a meticulous and organised Remote Accounts Payable Clerk to join our dedicated finance team. In this full-time, fully remote role, you will be instrumental in maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations. The ideal candidate is a proactive professional with a keen eye for detail, who will help manage our financial obligations and support the firm’s continued growth across various sectors. We are offering a competitive hourly rate of $28 to $38 USD per hour, commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

Process, verify, and enter a high volume of supplier invoices with a high degree of accuracy.
Prepare and execute weekly payment runs, ensuring all payments are timely and correctly allocated.
Reconcile accounts payable transactions and vendor statements to ensure our financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
Serve as the main point of contact for vendor enquiries, professionally resolving any payment discrepancies or issues.
Assist the finance team with month-end closing procedures, including the preparation of accruals and relevant reports.
Maintain precise and well-organised digital records of all financial transactions.
Ensure strict compliance with company financial policies and internal controls.
Collaborate with internal departments to streamline and improve the accounts payable process.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or in a similar accounting role.
A solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounts payable principles.
Excellent proficiency in MS Office, particularly with advanced skills in MS Excel.
Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote setting.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
The ability to work independently and contribute effectively as part of a distributed team.
Previous experience with accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage) is highly desirable.
An AAT qualification or equivalent is preferred but not essential.
