We are seeking a Senior Paid Ads Manager to lead full-funnel paid acquisition and media strategy across our international markets. Reporting directly to senior leadership, this role owns the end-to-end loop from strategy and budget allocation through to performance optimization, and will be a key driver of our global expansion. This is an ideal opportunity for a seasoned performance marketer with proven international market experience, a deep belief in data-driven growth, and the ambition to take on broader ownership within a fast-scaling global business.


 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead full-channel paid media strategy across international markets, including SEM, Paid Social, Display, Video, and affiliate/partnership channels
  • Build and refine the performance measurement framework for paid channels, with core KPIs including CPA, CPL, first-conversion cost, activation rate, retention, and LTV/CAC ratios
  • Forecast channel-level performance using historical data, and continuously optimize budget allocation across channels and regions
  • Drive A/B testing across ad creatives, landing pages, bidding strategies, and conversion funnels to consistently improve ROAS
  • Monitor post-acquisition behavioral signals (registration → activation → active usage → retention) to assess paid traffic quality and feed insights back into upper-funnel optimization
  • Track competitor paid media strategies and media presence across target markets, and deliver competitive intelligence reports
  • Present actionable insights and strategic recommendations to executive leadership, and drive cross-functional alignment with product, compliance, operations, and tech teams
  • Ensure all paid activities comply with the regulatory requirements, advertising guidelines, and platform policies of each target market


 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Marketing, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in paid media, performance marketing, or digital acquisition roles, ideally within fintech, brokerage, high-AOV consumer internet, or cross-border industries
  • Proven track record managing large-scale paid budgets (monthly spend in the seven figures or above) with measurable business impact
  • Advanced proficiency with analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Tableau, and Power BI
  • Strong SQL skills, with the ability to independently extract and analyze data
  • Deep understanding of major ad platform bidding models and attribution frameworks (MTA, MMM, incrementality testing, etc.)
  • Business-level English communication skills, comfortable operating in an international team environment


 

Nice to Have

  • Hands-on paid media experience in international markets
  • Experience managing affiliate channels or partnership-based acquisition
  • Familiarity with overseas user journeys and the ability to reverse-engineer optimization insights from behavioral data
  • Proficiency in Japanese or another target-market language
  • Team leadership / people management experience
