Y2K VINTAGE TEAM LEAD

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Y2K Vintage Team Lead to oversee our used-clothing sorting operations. The ideal candidate will lead a team of 4–5 employees, train staff in identifying Y2K and vintage fashion pieces, maintain quality standards, manage customer relationships, and ensure smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, supervise, and train a team of 4–5 sorting staff.

- Identify and classify Y2K, vintage, branded, and premium fashion items.

- Establish and maintain sorting and grading standards.

- Monitor daily productivity and operational performance.

- Ensure quality control of sorted merchandise.

- Communicate with customers regarding product requirements and orders.

- Handle customer inquiries and maintain strong client relationships.

- Organize inventory and oversee stock management.

- Prepare operational and quality reports.

Requirements

- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in Y2K/vintage fashion identification, sourcing, sorting, or related work.

- Minimum 3 years of overall professional work experience.

- Experience in used-clothing sorting, thrift, vintage retail, garment operations, or a related field.

- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Excellent communication and customer handling abilities.

- Ability to identify valuable brands, trends, and high-demand fashion pieces.

- Basic computer and reporting skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience managing a sorting facility, warehouse, or vintage clothing operation.

- Understanding of international Y2K and vintage fashion markets.

- Experience dealing directly with wholesale or retail customers.
