Assistant Officer - IT Support

Job Description

• Accepting responsibility for the lab equipment and ensuring that all the computers (with up-to-date software and antivirus), printers, and scanners are running properly and are in working order, and the cleanliness of the Computer Labs.
• Maintenance and troubleshooting for the lab hardware and software malfunctions.
• Providing technical support to students and teachers in use of computers during lab sessions.
• Conducting online admissions tests, teacher evaluation sessions, seminars, Workshops, installing required software, and troubleshooting related problems.
• Monitoring activities of students in lab and enforcing all rules concerning the use of the labs to ensure the physical and environmental safety of students.
• Providing solutions for hardware, software, LAN, user account, ZAB Desk password, and virus security-related problems to SZABIST employees and classroom PCs.
• Providing technical support to employees, faculty, and students in resetting their passwords for user accounts whenever required.
• Participating in university advancement activities, i.e., orientation, convocation, conference,s etc.
