Key Responsibilities:

Optimize database performance to ensure efficient data management.
Implement and maintain backup data processes for data integrity.
Collaborate with development teams to support and enhance database functionalities.
Manage and troubleshoot database issues to minimize downtime.
Develop and document database strategies and guidelines.
Monitor and tune databases to ensure high availability and performance.
Maintain comprehensive database documentation and protocols.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Proficiency in MySQL and PostgreSQL.
Expertise in database optimization techniques.
Strong knowledge of SQL for data querying and manipulation.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience in designing and implementing backup and recovery systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

Understanding of database security best practices.
Experience with cloud-based database solutions.
Certifications in database management or related field.
