Full Stack Developer (React/Next.js & Ruby on Rails)

We are looking for a talented Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in React and Next.js, complemented by experience in Ruby on Rails. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in migrating existing Ruby-based applications to standalone React/Next.js applications, while also maintaining and enhancing current functionalities.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and migration objectives.
Lead the migration of front-end components from Ruby on Rails (UUI) to standalone React and Next.js applications.
Develop responsive, scalable, and high-performance web interfaces using React and Next.js.
Maintain and occasionally refactor backend services built on Ruby on Rails.
Ensure seamless integration between frontend React components and existing Ruby-based backend services.
Optimize web applications for maximum speed, scalability, and user experience.
Debug, troubleshoot, and provide timely solutions to technical challenges.
Participate actively in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and mentorship within the development team.

Qualifications:

Demonstrable expertise in developing and deploying applications using React and Next.js.
Solid experience in Ruby on Rails, with the ability to understand, maintain, and optimize legacy code.
Proficiency with front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
Experience integrating frontend components with RESTful APIs.
Strong understanding of database structures, queries, and management.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
Strong communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in migrating legacy applications to modern frameworks.
Familiarity with Python and FastAPI.
