Shopify Developer & Manager

We are looking for an experienced Shopify Developer who not only understands the intricacies of front-end and back-end development but also has strong project management capabilities. This is a pivotal role for someone who can own the full lifecycle of Shopify projects — from technical planning and execution to day-to-day communication with clients.

You must have a deep understanding of the Shopify platform and its ecosystem, with the ability to lead technical discussions, manage client expectations, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify stores using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and custom Shopify APIs.
• Lead the execution of Shopify projects from start to finish — including timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communication.
• Handle front-end and back-end tasks, ensuring seamless integration of design and functionality.
• Collaborate with designers, marketers, and other developers to implement new features and enhancements.
• Communicate directly with clients on a daily basis through Slack and other collaboration tools, providing updates, answering questions, and managing feedback loops.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to performance, responsiveness, third-party integrations, and custom feature development.
• Stay up-to-date with Shopify updates, new app releases, and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of hands-on Shopify development experience, including experience with custom theme development and Shopify Plus.
• Strong knowledge of Liquid templating language, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and JSON.
• Familiarity with headless Shopify setups, app integrations, and custom API work.
• Proven experience managing multiple Shopify projects simultaneously, with the ability to prioritize, plan, and delegate effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English — you must be able to clearly articulate ideas, timelines, and challenges with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfortable communicating with clients daily via Slack and capable of leading client-facing calls as needed.
• Strong understanding of user experience, responsive design, and eCommerce best practices.

Preferred Skills (Not Mandatory but a Plus):

• Experience with third-party tools such as Klaviyo, Recharge, and other Shopify apps.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Basic understanding of CRO principles and analytics tools.
• Experience working within agile or sprint-based workflows.
