Job Description – Social Media Executive

Position: Social Media Executive
Department: Marketing

Reports To: Marketing Manager / Brand Manager

Job Summary

The Social Media Executive is responsible for planning, creating, publishing, and managing engaging content across the brand's social media platforms. This role focuses on increasing brand awareness, growing online communities, driving customer engagement, and supporting sales through strategic social media campaigns aligned with the brand's identity.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Management

  • Develop and execute the monthly social media content calendar.
  • Manage the brand's social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, and LinkedIn (where applicable).
  • Schedule and publish posts, stories, reels, shorts, and other digital content.
  • Ensure all content reflects the brand's voice, visual identity, and marketing objectives.

Content Creation & Coordination

  • Collaborate with the Creative, Brand, and Filmmaking teams to produce engaging visual and video content.
  • Write compelling captions, product descriptions, and social media copy.
  • Coordinate photoshoots and video shoots for seasonal collections, product launches, and promotional campaigns.
  • Identify content opportunities based on fashion trends, customer interests, and business priorities.

Community Management

  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Engage with followers, influencers, creators, and brand advocates to strengthen the online community.
  • Escalate customer concerns to the relevant departments when necessary.

Campaign Execution

  • Support the execution of social media campaigns, product launches, giveaways, contests, and promotional events.
  • Coordinate with the Performance Marketing team to align organic and paid social media strategies.
  • Assist with influencer collaborations and brand partnership campaigns.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Track key social media metrics, including reach, engagement, follower growth, impressions, video views, and conversions.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports with insights and recommendations.
  • Monitor competitor activities and industry trends to identify opportunities for improvement.

Brand Consistency

  • Ensure consistent branding, messaging, and visual identity across all social media channels.
  • Stay updated with platform trends, algorithm changes, and emerging social media features.
  • Recommend innovative content ideas to improve audience engagement and brand visibility.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Media Sciences, Mass Communication, Digital Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in social media management, preferably within the fashion, retail, beauty, or lifestyle industry.

Required Skills

  • Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, and other social media platforms.
  • Excellent copy writing and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of social media scheduling and analytics tools.
  • Strong understanding of fashion trends and digital consumer behaviour.
  • Basic knowledge of content creation, photography, and videography.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Creative thinking with attention to detail.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working with fashion, apparel, or lifestyle brands.
  • Familiarity with Meta Business Suite and social media analytics tools.
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
  • Experience coordinating influencer marketing campaigns.
  • Understanding of SEO, hashtags, and social media best practices.

  • Growth in followers and online community.
  • Engagement rate (likes, comments, shares, saves, and video views).
  • Reach and impressions across social media platforms.
  • Content publishing consistency and adherence to the content calendar.
  • Performance of social media campaigns.
  • Traffic and conversions generated from social media.
  • Response time to customer messages and comments.
  • Brand consistency and quality of content.

Working Environment

  • Dynamic and creative women's fashion and textile environment.
  • Close collaboration with the Brand, Creative, Performance Marketing, E-commerce, Design, and Filmmaking teams.
  • Occasional participation in photoshoots, campaign launches, fashion events, and store visits to create engaging content.
