JOB POSITION: CASHIER

Job Overview

Resource Linked is seeking a motivated and a responsible Cashier to join our dynamic retail team to manage billing operations and ensure accurate financial transactions.

Responsibilities

• Process customer purchases efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system while ensuring transaction accuracy.
• Receive and verify payments through multiple payment methods, including cash, debit/credit cards, and authorized vouchers.
• Follow company cash management procedures and established operational guidelines for cash handling and bank deposits.
• Ensure all sales transactions are recorded accurately and maintain error-free billing records.
• Safeguard cash receipts and company funds by adhering to security and control procedures.
• Process product returns, refunds, and exchanges in accordance with approved company policies and procedures.
• Maintain and monitor the store's petty cash fund, preparing accurate reconciliation reports for Retail Administration on a monthly basis.
• Verify product prices and ensure correct invoicing through the POS system before completing each sale.
• Complete routine cash balancing and reconciliation activities on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to ensure financial accuracy.

Requirements

• Education: BA / BSc / BCom / FA / FSC / BBA
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience required
• POS Systems
• Cash Management
• Prepare Reconciliation Reports
• Numerical accuracy
• Strong Communication Skills
