Meeting with the software/product designers to determine quality assurance parameters.
Overseeing the drafting of testing documents.
Implementing testing procedures and overseeing the QA process.
Troubleshooting quality issues and modifying test procedures.
Conducting analysis checks on product specifications.
Reviewed product design documentation to ensure that requirements stated are correct, unambiguous, and verifiable
Consult with product development to evaluate system interfaces, operational requirements and performance requirements of overall system
Define test scenarios/cases for new or updated software projects to determine if the software will perform accurately and reliably according to documented requirements under both normal and abnormal conditions
Recommend design improvements or corrections to engineers throughout the development process
Participate in agile scrums
Identify and track abnormal software/system behaviors within tracking system
Review and validate fixes
Communicate and coordinate with peers and senior-level individuals in cross-functional groups to articulate and compare alternative testing approaches
API testing using Postman
Test the application with respect to the provided user/client requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or relevant field

Job Specifications:

3 years’ experience as a QA engineer
High-level analytical skills
Advanced written and verbal communication skills
Hands on experience with Selenium WebDriver, Github, Bug Tracker, Mantis BT, Trac, JIRA
Critical thinking skills
Ability to manage projects
Detail oriented
