We are currently seeking a skilled and results-driven Ethanol & Molasses Trader to join our dynamic team.

Job Description:

As an Ethanol & Molasses Trader, you will be responsible for managing the buying and selling of ethanol and molasses, identifying market trends, executing profitable trades, and handling export documentation and shipping logistics. You will develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, customers, and industry partners to optimize trading strategies, mitigate risks, and enhance profitability. Your expertise in commodity markets, strong negotiation skills, and knowledge of export processes will be key in achieving our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute trading strategies for ethanol and molasses, ensuring optimal pricing and market positioning.
• Analyze market data, monitor supply-demand dynamics, and identify key trends in the ethanol and molasses sectors.
• Negotiate and finalize contracts with suppliers, customers, and transportation providers.
• Handle the preparation and management of export documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, certificates of origin, and customs documentation.
• Coordinate with shipping and logistics teams to ensure the timely and cost-effective shipment of ethanol and molasses to international markets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and logistics partners.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient trading operations and compliance with international trade regulations.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and export laws in all trading and shipping activities.
• Prepare regular reports on market trends, performance, and trading results.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Agriculture, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in commodity trading, with a focus on ethanol and molasses or similar agricultural products.
• Strong knowledge of the ethanol and molasses markets, including pricing mechanisms, transportation logistics, and regulations.
• Hands-on experience with export documentation and shipping logistics, including familiarity with customs processes and international trade laws.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze market data and make informed trading decisions.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other trading platforms/systems.
