Accounts & Finance Officer

We are looking for a dedicated and professional Accounts Officer to join our team on a long-term basis in Karachi, Pakistan. The ideal candidate will be well-presented and demonstrate excellent fluency in English, both spoken and written. This role requires managing comprehensive accounting functions with accuracy, efficiency, and a strong commitment to compliance and financial integrity.

Key Responsibilities
Manage the cash flow of bank accounts by maintaining accurate records of payables and receivables, ensuring all payments are made promptly. Perform monthly closing of accounts and prepare detailed reports related to export and import consignments to support audit processes. Handle the filing of monthly and annual tax returns while ensuring all documentation and records are properly maintained. Liaise and correspond with local vendors, service providers, banks, and internal staff regarding payments, taxation, and legal compliance matters.

Required Qualifications
A Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) degree is essential, accompanied by relevant accounting experience. Candidates should have a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in full-cycle accounting processes. Proficiency in English is required, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with various stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Candidates who are ACCA Part Qualified, ACCA Qualified, or hold an MBA will be given preference. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Karachi, requiring the candidate’s physical presence during working hours. The monthly salary range for this role is between Rs60,000 and Rs80,000.
