Accounts Officer

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have previous experience working in retail, such as supermarts, brand stores, or industrial settings..

Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
Ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance of financial data and records.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets.
Perform month-end and year-end closing processes.
Reconcile bank statements and ensure proper cash management.
Process and review expense reports, invoices, and other financial documents.
Monitor and manage inventory valuation and cost accounting.
Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts and projections.
Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
Collaborate with internal departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies, procedures, and controls.
Stay updated on accounting principles, regulations, and best practices.
Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff as needed.
Requirements:

Previous experience working as an accountant in retail, such as supermarts, brand stores, or industrial settings.
Age between 25 and 45.
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. ACCA student or above is also acceptable.
Minimum of 1 years of relevant experience in accounting or a related role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and taxation.
Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Excel.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Ethical conduct and adherence to confidentiality.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs35,000.00 - Rs40,000.00 per month
