HR Construction seeks a diligent Billing Officer to join its Head Office team in Hyderabad. This role demands precision in preparing, verifying, and maintaining comprehensive billing records, invoices, and related documentation. The Billing Officer will collaborate closely with site teams, technical staff, and the accounts department to ensure accurate billing and timely recovery of dues. This position also entails managing bill-wise tracking reports and reporting billing status and pending issues to senior management. The ideal candidate will possess strong calculation, documentation, and follow-up skills, supported by a relevant academic background and experience in billing, accounts, or the construction sector. The Billing Officer will lead a team of five professionals, overseeing the preparation and verification of billing documents and coordinating billing operations across multiple departments. This leadership role requires effective team management and communication to streamline billing processes and maintain an organized filing system for all billing-related records. The role is full-time and based at the company's Head Office in Hyderabad, emphasizing accuracy, responsibility, and robust coordination among various stakeholders.
Responsibilities
 

  • Prepare and maintain accurate billing records, measurement sheets, and supporting documents.
  • Assist in preparing client bills, invoices, and claims ensuring timely submission and completeness.
  • Verify quantities, rates, deductions, and supporting attachments for billing accuracy.
  • Coordinate regularly with site teams, technical staff, and the accounts department to collect necessary billing data and documentation.
  • Follow up on pending bills, required approvals, and submitted claims to expedite payments.
  • Maintain detailed bill-wise tracking reports to monitor billing status and recovery.
  • Ensure proper filing and systematic organization of bills, letters, approvals, and other billing-related documents.
  • Report billing status and highlight pending issues or discrepancies to senior management promptly.
  • Manage and guide a team of five staff members, ensuring task completion and adherence to billing procedures.
  • Utilize billing software, ERP systems, and other financial tools to improve billing accuracy and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with accounts receivable to reconcile billing and payment records.
  • Continuously improve billing procedures to enhance accuracy, reduce errors, and facilitate smooth financial operations.
