We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager – Clinical Genetics to help expand our reach, form strategic partnerships, and accelerate the adoption of our genetic services in the clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities:
· Identify and develop new business opportunities in the clinical genetics and genomics market.
· Build and maintain relationships with hospitals, clinics, genetic counselors, research institutions, and other stakeholders.
· Develop and execute strategic sales plans targeting healthcare providers, insurers, and industry partners.
· Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and customer needs.
· Collaborate with product, marketing, and scientific teams to tailor offerings and communicate clinical value.
· Represent the company at conferences, industry events, and client meetings.
· Track and report key performance metrics, forecasts, and competitive intelligence.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Genetics, Business, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
· 2+ years of experience in business development or sales within clinical diagnostics, genomics, or biotech.
· Strong understanding of clinical genetics applications (e.g., hereditary cancer, rare disease, reproductive health).
· Proven track record of driving revenue growth and forming successful partnerships.
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
· Existing network within healthcare systems or genetic testing labs.
