Computer Operator

Clarkson Hyde is seeking a skilled Computer Operator to join our team and oversee the daily operations of computer systems. The ideal candidate possesses strong expertise in data entry, system monitoring, hardware troubleshooting, and file management. This position requires at least one year of experience in a similar role and the ability to efficiently manage and coordinate a team of 20 persons. The Computer Operator ensures the smooth functioning of all computer-related activities, supports hardware and software operations, and maintains system integrity to meet organizational needs. In this role, the Computer Operator will be responsible for monitoring system performance, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, and maintaining accurate and organized digital records. The candidate will also facilitate communication between technical staff and end users to guarantee timely support and minimize operational disruptions. The ability to lead and manage a sizable team, fostering collaboration and productivity, is essential for success in this position at Clarkson Hyde.
Responsibilities
 

• Monitor daily computer system operations to ensure optimal performance and availability.
• Perform accurate and timely data entry tasks while maintaining data integrity.
• Conduct regular hardware troubleshooting and resolve technical issues promptly.
• Manage, organize, and maintain digital files and records systematically.
• Lead and supervise a team of 20 computer operators, providing guidance and support to improve efficiency.
• Coordinate with technical support and IT departments to resolve complex system problems.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to computer operations.
• Maintain system backups and assist in recovery operations when necessary.
• Report on system status, performance metrics, and any incidents impacting computer operations.
