D365 CE Technical Consultant

This role demands a candidate with 7 years of proven experience in Microsoft Dynamics AX/D365 F&O implementation as a technical consultant. The individual will utilize their expertise to troubleshoot and optimize systems, lead technical efforts in solution delivery, and maintain high standards of code quality and system performance. While the role does not involve direct team management, the consultant is expected to engage effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners, contributing to the overall success of ERP projects. Responsibilities
 

• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to align Dynamics 365 architecture with enterprise-wide digital strategies.
• Design, customize, and deploy Dynamics 365 modules across Finance, Supply Chain Management, Sales, and Customer Service domains.
• Develop and maintain custom extensions using X++, .NET, Power Platform, and Azure services to enhance system functionality and user experience.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application bugs, integration challenges, and performance issues to ensure optimal system operation.
• Implement and manage Dynamics 365 environments, including system builds, deployments, and Lifecycle Services (LCS) setup.
• Ensure adherence to Microsoft best practices, security protocols, and data governance policies throughout solution development and deployment.
• Work closely with functional consultants and development teams to ensure technical requirements are effectively translated into robust solutions.
• Participate in technical review meetings, code walkthroughs, and knowledge sharing sessions to promote continuous learning and quality assurance.
• Evaluate emerging Microsoft technologies and assess their potential integration into existing Dynamics 365 environments to drive innovation.
• Develop and optimize automation workflows using tools such as Power Automate to reduce manual efforts and enhance process efficiency.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of technical documentation to facilitate ongoing support and team onboarding.
• Engage in ongoing performance tuning, debugging, and system optimization activities to maintain high availability and responsiveness.
• Coordinate with external vendors and partners during collaborative development initiatives to ensure project alignment and quality standards.
• Support the implementation of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and DevOps practices to streamline delivery processes.
• Provide technical insights and contribute to strategic ERP roadmap planning to align IT capabilities with long-term business goals.
• Assist in mentoring junior technical resources by sharing best practices, guiding certification preparations, and fostering professional growth.
