Job Purpose
The E-Commerce Operations Assistant will support the E-Commerce Manager in handling daily online operations for an auto parts business. The role includes marketplace support, Shopify store management, product optimization, order coordination, vendor follow-ups, lead platform monitoring, and basic reporting.
The assistant will be responsible for executing assigned tasks accurately, keeping product and order data updated, supporting platform growth, and escalating important issues to the E-Commerce Manager when required.
Key Responsibilities.
1. Shopify Store Management
Support the daily management of Shopify-based auto parts stores, including product updates, order checks, collection management, website data accuracy, and coordination with development or marketing agencies when required.
2. eBay Marketplace Management
Assist with eBay marketplace operations by maintaining listings, improving product visibility, supporting sales growth, and ensuring product information is accurate and competitive.
3. Auto Parts Product Management
Manage and update auto parts product information to ensure listings and website products are accurate, searchable, and suitable for customer purchase decisions.
4. Order and Vendor Coordination
Support order processing by coordinating with vendors, checking product availability, following up on pending orders, and updating internal records where necessary.
5. Lead Platform and Operations Support
Monitor offline or internal lead platforms to ensure leads are being handled properly and that users have no issues with the process.
6. Reporting, Research, and Admin Support
Prepare basic reports, assist with research, compare tools or solutions, and maintain organized records for operational review.
Required Skills and Knowledge
The candidate should have a basic understanding of e-commerce operations, online marketplaces, Shopify, and auto parts product data. Knowledge of vehicle compatibility, product fitment, marketplace listing quality, and online customer buying behavior will be an advantage.
The candidate should be comfortable working with spreadsheets, product data, marketplace dashboards, Shopify Admin, and basic research tools. Strong attention to detail is required because product accuracy, pricing, fitment, and order coordination directly affect sales and customer satisfaction.
