Email Marketing Specialist

We are looking for an experienced Email Marketing Strategist to take ownership of email marketing strategy and coordinate execution across the wider CRM and creative team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and own the monthly email marketing calendar around brand priorities, promotions, product launches and key trading periods.
• Develop campaign strategies, messaging angles, audience targeting and promotional recommendations.
• Work with internal teams to align email activity with upcoming offers, launches and wider commercial priorities.
• Create clear briefs and provide strategic direction to copywriters and creative direction to designers.
• Manage campaign execution and ensure emails are completed, reviewed and scheduled on time.
• Review campaign performance and use insights to improve future strategy.
• Develop and optimise automated email flows across key customer lifecycle stages.
• Identify opportunities to improve segmentation, personalisation, customer journeys and retention.
• Plan and manage A/B testing across offers, messaging, creative, timing and targeting.
• Attend relevant internal meetings and coordinate with eCommerce, creative and wider marketing teams.
• Proactively identify new opportunities, performance issues and areas for improvement.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in eCommerce email marketing strategy.
• Strong experience with campaign calendars, promotional planning and automated email flows.
• Strong knowledge of Klaviyo.
• Good understanding of segmentation, lifecycle marketing, customer behaviour and retention.
• Ability to analyse performance data and turn insights into actionable strategy.
• Experience briefing and managing copywriters and designers.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines.
• Ability to take ownership, make recommendations and work independently.
• A portfolio of previous email marketing work and examples of results achieved is required.
