Full job description

A "Food Manufacturing Company" is urgently looking for an "Export Documentation Assistant" for its office in Karachi.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Export Documentation Assistant to support our export operations by managing shipment documentation, logistics coordination, and regulatory compliance. The role ensures smooth and timely export processes by working closely with banks, customs authorities, clearing agents, transporters, inspection agencies, and internal departments.

Key Responsibilities:

Export Documentation

  • Prepare export documents including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, bills of lading, and insurance documents.
  • Ensure compliance with LC terms and coordinate timely submission of documents to banks.
  • Maintain complete and organized export documentation records for audits.
  • Process export-related documentation through PSW and customs portals.

Shipment & Logistics Coordination

  • Coordinate container booking, packing, loading, sealing, and dispatch activities with warehouse teams.
  • Arrange and track transportation for container movement to ports.
  • Coordinate with shipping lines for bill of lading and related documentation.

External Coordination

  • Liaise with clearing agents for customs clearance and issue resolution.
  • Coordinate with inspection and certification agencies (SGS, Intertek, etc.).
  • Manage insurance certificates and third-party inspection requirements.

Regulatory Compliance

  • Coordinate with customs, TDAP, plant protection, food authorities, and quarantine departments.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international export regulations and documentation standards.

Bank & Customer Coordination

  • Coordinate with banks for LC processing, documentation approval, and payment tracking.
  • Communicate with customers regarding shipment schedules and documentation updates.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, International Trade, or related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in export documentation, shipping, or logistics coordination.
  • Understanding of export procedures, LC handling, shipping documentation, and customs systems (PSW/WeBOC preferred).
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Strong attention to detail, coordination skills, and ability to work under deadlines.

Pay: Rs50,000.00 - Rs80,000.00 per month
