What You’ll Be Doing

• Own finance and compliance operations for Lumida’s global activities, focused on supporting US reporting from our Karachi hub.
• Manage external vendor relationships including Razor State (US tax accountants), Sydecar (investment compliance), and other finance or legal vendors.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reconciliation processes in collaboration with leadership.
• Prepare and support tax filings, financial reports, and assist with regulatory compliance and audit prep.
• Help build and maintain operational tooling — particularly our Airtable systems, financial dashboards, and trackers.
• Ensure vendor payments and related workflows are accurate, timely, and well-documented.
• Partner with leadership to refine processes across finance, legal compliance, and audit readiness.
• Stay up to date on regulatory obligations and support internal stakeholders with documentation and filings as needed.

What We’re Looking For

• A well-rounded operator who thrives at the intersection of finance, compliance, and systems thinking.
• Able to manage external vendors and internal processes with strong documentation discipline.
• Someone who wants to grow with a fast-paced company, take ownership, and level up their strategic skills.
• Comfortable building processes and tools (Airtable, Sheets, dashboards) from the ground up.
• Bonus points for exposure to US tax or compliance frameworks or startup operating environments.

✅ Minimum Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in finance, audit, or compliance roles — preferably in a startup, consulting, or cross-border setting.
• Strong command of budgeting, financial reporting, and vendor management.
• Solid working knowledge of Google Sheets, Airtable, and financial systems.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills — both written and verbal.
• High attention to detail, and a bias for action and accountability.
• Based in Karachi, and willing to work flexible hours to align with a US-based team.
