Finance Lead - Department Accounting & Finance

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to oversee the operations of the Finance department at the group level. The ideal candidate will be responsible for compiling financial data, preparing detailed reports, and analyzing the overall financial health of the company. This role requires managing company budgets, establishing budget guidelines across departments, and handling lease financing along with maintaining related records. The Finance Manager will also coordinate with banks on lease financing and other banking matters, ensuring smooth financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee the Finance department’s operations across the entire group.
- Compile and analyze financial data to create comprehensive reports.
- Manage company budgets and set budget guidelines for all departments.
- Handle lease financing activities and maintain accurate records.
- Liaise with banks regarding lease financing and other banking issues.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements.
- Forecast company finances and develop financial models to support decision-making.
- Monitor cash flow positions, forecast expenditure needs, and ensure availability of funds for ongoing operations and long-term requirements.
- Supervise the complete billing cycle for the head office and regional offices.
- Conduct thorough reviews to reconcile billing data with accounting records and the general ledger.
- Review aging reports, monthly reconciliations, and documentation required for annual financial audits.
- Oversee taxation matters with close supervision and review.

Required Qualifications

- ICMA (Part Qualified), CA (Intermediate), MBA (Finance), or M.Com.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with various stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership and team coordination abilities.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

- Master’s degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 4 years of relevant accounting and supervisory experience is desirable.
- Ability to work in-person from the Karachi office.

Compensation

- Monthly salary range: Rs120,000 to Rs150,000.
