The Insurance Underwriter role is a full-time, on-site position based in Karachi. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing insurance applications, evaluating risk profiles, and determining appropriate coverage terms, limits, and pricing in accordance with company policies. This role involves analyzing financial and risk-related data, reviewing documentation, and collaborating closely with sales and operations teams to design suitable insurance solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Assess insurance applications and evaluate risk profiles to determine coverage terms, limits, and pricing.
- Analyze financial statements and other risk-related information to support underwriting decisions.
- Review documentation thoroughly to ensure accuracy and compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with sales and operations teams to develop tailored insurance solutions that meet client needs.

Required Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate risk, interpret data, and make informed underwriting decisions.
- Solid understanding of insurance products, principles, and industry best practices.
- Effective communication skills for interaction with internal teams, intermediaries, and clients.
- Proven underwriting expertise, including experience applying underwriting guidelines and risk assessment tools.
- Basic finance knowledge to review financial statements and assess applicants’ financial health.
- A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in underwriting or insurance operations is advantageous.
