As a Financial Controller you are responsible for leading the organization’s financial operations and control framework, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic alignment of financial operations with business goals. This role acts as a key business partner to the CFO and senior leadership, driving financial performance, risk management, and operational excellence across the enterprise.

Things you will be doing as a Financial Controller

1- Financial Governance & Compliance

• Ensure financial statements are prepared in compliance with IFRS standards and local statutory requirements
• Implement and monitor SOPs, financial policies, controls, and compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
• Drive audit readiness and liaise with internal/external auditors

2- Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Deliver accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual statutory reports
• Conduct variance, trend, and scenario analyses to support decision-making
• Close Balance sheet on a monthly basis and lead balance sheet reviews

3- Working Capital & Treasury Management

• Optimize working capital through effective management of receivables, payables, and inventory
• Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and banking relationships to ensure financial sustainability

4- Taxation & Compliance

• Oversee all direct and indirect tax matters in different countries ensuring full compliance and efficient tax planning
• Liaise with tax authorities and advisors to safeguard company’s interests

5- Business Partnering

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive profitability and business performance

6- Cost Control & Operational Efficiency

• Identify and drive cost optimization opportunities
• Implement performance measurement systems and improve operational efficiency

7- Internal Controls & Risk Management

• Establish, strengthen, and monitor internal controls to mitigate financial and operational risks

8- Team Leadership & Capability Building

• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to build a high-performing and agile function
• Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and innovation

What are we looking for in you?

• Chartered Accountant (CA) or ACCA
• Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience
• Expertise in IFRS, taxation, and local regulatory frameworks
• Strong knowledge of SAP
• Advanced analytical and financial modeling skills along with excel skills
• Experience with financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
