Tax Coordinator

About the job

The ideal candidate will be responsible to assist with the preparation of records, details, reconciliations and commentaries or other documents related to tax affairs. The incumbent will be accountable for intimation of tax updates, periodic filings and following up on administrative activities.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for checking tax related updates from various sources and intimating them to respective stakeholders within the group along with seeking extensions in compliances whenever required.
• Responsible for the preparation of payment challans and related details along with seeking rectification from authorities whenever required.
• Responsible for filling periodic statements and returns.
• Responsible for timely recording and reporting of administrative activities
• Assist with the preparation of records/details/reconciliations/commentaries or other documents for timely compliances/recording or reporting requirements.
• Participate in training activities including those suggested by the management.
• Assist with special projects/assignments/tasks assigned by the management and ensure they are completed within the given deadlines.
• Abet with the preparation of budget proposals and exemption certificate matters.
• Responsible for updating schedules, databases, organizational charts, and other tax tools as changes occur in the legal entity structure, tax laws, etc.

Qualifications:

• BBA / BS / B.com or equivalent
• Experience: 2 - 3 years in relevant field
• Strong communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
