Role Description The Fundraising Manager (CSR) will lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of fundraising and corporate social responsibility initiatives to support Jamia Tur Rasheed’s educational mission. This full-time, on-site role in Karāchi will involve identifying and engaging potential corporate and philanthropic partners, developing proposals, and managing donor relationships. The role includes coordinating fundraising campaigns, events, and outreach activities, as well as preparing reports and presentations for leadership and funders. The Fundraising Manager (CSR) will collaborate with academic, administrative, and communications teams to align CSR programs with institutional goals and ensure consistent messaging. The position also involves monitoring fundraising performance, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations.

Qualifications

 

  • Proven experience in fundraising, CSR, or development, preferably in an educational or nonprofit setting.
  • Strong skills in stakeholder engagement, relationship management, and partnership building with corporate, philanthropic, and community organizations.
  • Ability to develop compelling proposals, presentations, and reports, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Urdu is an advantage.
  • Competence in planning and managing campaigns and events, including budgeting, timelines, and performance tracking.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple projects under deadlines.
  • Comfort with using office productivity tools and CRM or donor management systems (or willingness to learn).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Marketing, Social Sciences, or a related field; a master’s degree is an asset.
  • Demonstrated commitment to the mission and values of Jamia Tur Rasheed and sensitivity to the local cultural and educational context.
