Intern - Maintenance Engineer

Job Description

In this role, the Intern Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support and repair services for mobile devices, maintaining detailed records of work performed, and assisting in the identification of recurring technical problems to enhance service quality. The position demands effective collaboration with service consultants and various internal teams to ensure efficient service delivery and customer satisfaction. While this entry-level role does not include team management responsibilities, it requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to contribute positively to a multi-disciplinary team focused on continuous process improvement and customer care.
Responsibilities
 

• Receive mobile devices from customers or distributors for repair and maintenance, ensuring proper handling and documentation.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical faults in mobile phones under the supervision of senior maintenance engineers.
• Study and apply technical manuals, product specifications, and documentation to improve repair accuracy and efficiency.
• Communicate professionally with customers to provide timely updates on repair status and technical resolutions.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries and concerns related to maintenance and service activities.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of all repair services performed to support quality control and reporting.
• Assist in identifying recurring technical issues and contribute feedback to the engineering team to support continuous improvement.
• Support service consultants during high-demand periods or absences to maintain uninterrupted customer service.
• Collaborate effectively with internal departments to enhance service quality, operational efficiency, and process optimization.
• Perform additional duties assigned by management to contribute to overall service operations and team goals.
