We are currently offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to intern as a Junior Accountant leading towards permanent job at our office located in Defence, Karachi. This role will provide hands-on experience in accounting practices within the professional services industry while contributing to the success of our organization.
Position Overview:
As a Junior Accountant Intern , you will work closely with our finance team to support day-to-day accounting operations. This internship is designed to give you practical exposure to real-world accounting tasks and processes, helping you develop valuable skills that align with your academic background. The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in accounting, excellent organizational abilities, and a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in maintaining accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and invoices.
Support monthly bookkeeping activities such as reconciling accounts, preparing bank statements, and managing petty cash.
Help prepare financial reports and assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
Process payments, receipts, and other transactions under supervision.
Conduct data entry and ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with company policies.
Collaborate with the finance team on ad-hoc projects, audits, and tax-related matters.
Learn about payroll processing and assist in generating employee salary slips (if applicable).
Perform administrative duties related to the finance department as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and terminologies.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel; familiarity with QuickBooks or other accounting software is a plus.
High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and Urdu.
Ability to multitask, prioritize assignments, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn.
Prior internship or coursework experience in accounting is preferred but not mandatory.

Salary: 20,000
