Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical) to oversee the maintenance operations at our SITE Karachi plant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintaining and troubleshooting machinery used in PET bottle manufacturing, thermoforming, and sheet extrusion.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance Management: Lead and manage the maintenance of thermoforming machines, PET sheet extrusion lines, and PET bottle molding equipment.
Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure continuous production.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues promptly to maintain production efficiency.
Team Leadership: Supervise and train a team of maintenance technicians, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and spare parts inventory.

Qualifications & Experience

Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, B-Tech Mechanical.
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing environment, preferably in PET packaging or related industries.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in maintaining and troubleshooting thermoforming machines, injection/blow molding equipment, and extrusion lines.
Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage maintenance teams effectively.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance challenges.
Communication: Excellent communication skills in English and Urdu; proficiency in Sindhi is a plus.
