Manager Construction – Project Finishes & Quality Control

Job Summary

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly competent and experienced Manager Construction – Project Finishes & Quality Control to lead and supervise all finishing works for high-rise and residential construction projects. The role requires hands-on leadership to ensure that all finishing activities, including plaster, woodwork, plumbing, painting, and related architectural works, are executed in accordance with approved drawings, technical specifications, and international quality standards, within defined timelines and budgets.

Role and Responsibilities

Construction & Finishes Management

• Lead and supervise all finishing works including plaster, masonry, tile works, paint, woodwork, aluminum works, false ceiling, flooring, and façade finishes
• Ensure execution as per approved architectural drawings, specifications, and international construction standards
• Monitor quality control and workmanship across all finishing activities
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors

Site Supervision & Execution

• Oversee day-to-day finishing works at site
• Ensure adherence to project timelines and construction milestones
• Review shop drawings, material approvals, and method statements
• Conduct regular site inspections and progress monitoring

Quality Assurance & Compliance

• Ensure finishing works comply with architectural standards and approved materials
• Identify and resolve technical issues during execution
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality procedures
• Conduct snagging, de-snagging, and final handover inspections

Coordination & Team Leadership

• Lead site engineers, supervisors, and finishing contractors
• Coordinate with civil, MEP, and structural teams for smooth workflow
• Manage subcontractors and vendor performance
• Conduct progress meetings and provide management updates

Procurement & Material Management

• Review finishing material requirements and specifications
• Coordinate with procurement team for timely material availability
• Monitor usage and minimize wastage

Required Skills

Qualification & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction Management

• Minimum 10 years of experience in construction, with at least 5 years in finishing works
• Experience in high-rise residential or commercial projects preferred
• Strong understanding of architectural drawings and finishing specifications
