Job Overview:
PSC Dx is looking for an experienced Medical Billing Manager to oversee and streamline our revenue cycle management (RCM) operations. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience in medical billing, coding, and claims processing for a US-based healthcare facility, particularly in laboratory services. This is a work-from-home role but requires working US Central Time Zone hours.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the end-to-end medical billing process, including charge entry, claim submission, payment posting, and denial management.
Ensure accurate and timely claims submission to insurance companies, Medicare, and Medicaid.
Work on denial resolutions, appeals, and claims follow-ups to maximize reimbursement.
Monitor accounts receivable (AR) aging reports and take necessary actions to reduce outstanding claims.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, CPT, ICD-10, and insurance payer regulations.
Collaborate with physicians, laboratory staff, and insurance companies for claims resolution.
Supervise and train the billing team, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in billing processes.
Generate financial reports and provide insights into revenue performance.
Stay updated with US healthcare billing regulations and payer policies.
Use and manage billing software and electronic medical records (EMR) for smooth processing.

Requirements & Expectations:
5+ years of experience in US medical billing, preferably in laboratory billing.
Strong understanding of CPT codes, ICD-10 codes, and HCPCS coding.
Experience in handling claim denials, appeals, and AR follow-ups.
Proficiency in billing software, EMR/EHR systems, and clearinghouses.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and ensure deadlines are met.
Must be comfortable working in US Central Time Zone hours.
Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance billing guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience managing a remote billing team.
Knowledge of CLIA lab billing, PCR testing, and pathology billing.
Experience with RCM software and EDI transactions.
