The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and negotiation skills and have a keen understanding of order processing, inventory management, and product knowledge. This role involves managing the end-to-end sales process, from taking customer orders to ensuring timely delivery, while effectively maintaining client relationships. The position requires managing a small team of seven individuals, overseeing their daily activities to meet sales targets efficiently. The role demands excellent interpersonal skills and time management abilities to coordinate with customers and internal teams effectively. The Order Booker | Sales Representative will serve as the primary liaison between the company and retail outlets, negotiating terms and providing exceptional service to boost customer satisfaction and loyalty. Responsibilities
 

• Take orders accurately from retail shops, ensuring all specifications and quantities are correctly recorded.
• Coordinate order deliveries, working closely with delivery drivers and utilizing company vehicles to ensure timely and accurate distribution.
• Maintain ongoing communication with the sales manager regarding credit terms, pricing, and any customer concerns to ensure transparency and smooth transactions.
• Engage in effective negotiation with shopkeepers to secure favorable pricing and build long-term customer relationships.
• Manage inventory levels to prevent stock shortages and ensure availability of products for customers.
• Supervise and guide a team of seven sales and delivery personnel, monitoring their performance and providing support to achieve collective sales goals.
• Utilize strong time management skills to prioritize daily tasks, meet deadlines, and maximize productivity within working hours.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures during all customer interactions and order processing activities.
• Report regularly on sales activities, achievements against targets, and any issues encountered to senior management.
• Maintain detailed records of orders, deliveries, and customer interactions for accurate tracking and future reference.
• Support the team by providing training and coaching to enhance their communication, negotiation, and sales abilities.
• Proactively identify opportunities for sales growth within assigned territories and suggest improvements to sales strategies.
• Operate company vehicles responsibly and adhere to safety guidelines during order deliveries.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to remain informed and adjust sales tactics accordingly.
