Job description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Principal with a proven track record in a leadership role within an educational environment. The Principal will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the school, maintaining high academic standards, and ensuring the welfare and development of both students and staff. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in leading educational institutions and a deep understanding of the Cambridge system.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead the school’s academic and operational functions, ensuring the implementation of the Cambridge International Curriculum at all levels.

* Inspire, motivate, and support staff in their professional growth, fostering a collaborative and innovative teaching environment.

* Oversee student welfare, ensuring the creation of a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for all learners.

* Monitor and evaluate student progress and school performance, using data and feedback to inform decisions and enhance educational outcomes.

* Lead recruitment, training, and evaluation processes for teaching and administrative staff, ensuring a high level of professionalism and commitment to educational standards.

* Foster strong relationships with parents, students, and the wider community to create a supportive and engaged school environment.

* Uphold and implement policies, ensuring compliance with national and international educational standards and regulations.

Qualifications and Experience:

* Master’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field (or equivalent).

* At least 5 years of experience in a leadership or head role within an educational setup, ideally within an international or Cambridge curriculum school.

* Extensive experience and understanding of the Cambridge International Curriculum and its pedagogical approaches.

* Strong leadership and people management skills, with a proven ability to lead, motivate, and inspire a diverse team.

* In-depth knowledge of modern educational practices, curriculum design, assessment, and technology integration.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders (students, parents, staff, and the community).
