Gerry's Group is seeking a dedicated Security Inspector with a strong background in risk assessment, physical security, surveillance techniques, emergency response, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in the security field and will be responsible for ensuring the effective implementation of security and compliance Standard Operating Procedures across the entire range of companies under the Group. This role requires a strategic thinker who can conduct thorough investigations and security risk assessments to safeguard the organization's assets and personnel. The Security Inspector will also play a crucial role in managing a large team of 6000 security personnel, overseeing operational efficiency, and maintaining high standards of safety and security. The position demands a proactive approach to incident reporting and implementing corrective actions to mitigate potential risks. Collaboration with various departments and coordination with external agencies will be essential to ensure a secure environment throughout the Group's operations.
Responsibilities
 

  • Conduct comprehensive security risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
  • Implement and monitor adherence to Security and Compliance Standard Operating Procedures across all companies within the Group.
  • Supervise and manage a large security team of 6000 personnel, ensuring efficient deployment and consistent performance.
  • Establish and maintain physical security measures including surveillance systems and access control protocols.
  • Develop and execute security inspection routines to assess compliance with safety and security regulations.
  • Respond promptly to emergency situations and coordinate appropriate emergency response actions.
  • Investigate security incidents thoroughly, documenting findings and preparing detailed incident reports.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external law enforcement agencies to enhance security measures.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and legal standards in all security operations.
  • Provide training and guidance to security staff on best practices, investigation procedures, and emergency protocols.
  • Analyze security data and generate regular reports for senior management on security status and risks.
  • Manage resources effectively to maintain optimal security coverage across all facilities within the Group.
  • Continuously review and update security policies and procedures to address evolving threats and regulatory changes.
