Job Description
Job Responsibilities:

1. Regulatory Compliance Management:

Ensure compliance with food safety standards and statutory regulations, including FSSC 22000 and BRCGS (Global Standards for Food Safety).
Monitor and ensure adherence to local and international regulatory requirements for food production and packaging.
2. System Development and Maintenance:

Develop and maintain compliance management systems, ensuring all internal systems align with current statutory requirements.
Implement and update policies and procedures to maintain compliance with food safety certifications (FSSC 22000, BRCGS, etc.).
3. Audit and Inspection Coordination:

Coordinate internal and external audits to ensure the organization is fully prepared for regulatory inspections and certification assessments.
Track corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) arising from audits and inspections.
4. Compliance Documentation and Reporting:

Prepare and manage documentation related to compliance standards, ensuring the proper recording of regulatory requirements and certifications.
Generate reports for senior management on the compliance status and potential areas for improvement.
4. Stakeholder Communication:

Act as a liaison between the company and regulatory authorities, ensuring timely updates on compliance requirements.
Provide compliance-related training to employees, fostering a culture of safety and adherence to regulatory standards.
5. Continuous Improvement:

Monitor industry trends and updates in food safety and compliance regulations to ensure the company stays ahead of regulatory changes.
Requirements:

Education: Bachelors in Food Science or related field.

Experience: 2 to 4 years in statutory compliance (food industry).

Skills: Knowledge of food safety standards (FSSC 22000, BRCGS), auditing, and system development.

Certifications: Preferred in FSSC 22000, BRCGS. Soft Skills: Strong communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills.

Other Details:

Experience: 2- 4 years

Work Timings: 8am-5pm

Work Days: Monday- Saturday Work Mode: Onsite Location: Korangi, Karachi
