Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

1. Regulatory Compliance Management:

• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and statutory regulations, including FSSC 22000 and BRCGS (Global Standards for Food Safety).
• Monitor and ensure adherence to local and international regulatory requirements for food production and packaging.

2. System Development and Maintenance:

• Develop and maintain compliance management systems, ensuring all internal systems align with current statutory requirements.
• Implement and update policies and procedures to maintain compliance with food safety certifications (FSSC 22000, BRCGS, etc.).

3. Audit and Inspection Coordination:

• Coordinate internal and external audits to ensure the organization is fully prepared for regulatory inspections and certification assessments.
• Track corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) arising from audits and inspections.

4. Compliance Documentation and Reporting:

• Prepare and manage documentation related to compliance standards, ensuring the proper recording of regulatory requirements and certifications.
• Generate reports for senior management on the compliance status and potential areas for improvement.

4. Stakeholder Communication:

• Act as a liaison between the company and regulatory authorities, ensuring timely updates on compliance requirements.
• Provide compliance-related training to employees, fostering a culture of safety and adherence to regulatory standards.

5. Continuous Improvement:

• Monitor industry trends and updates in food safety and compliance regulations to ensure the company stays ahead of regulatory changes.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelors in Food Science or related field.

Experience: 2 to 4 years in statutory compliance (food industry).

Skills: Knowledge of food safety standards (FSSC 22000, BRCGS), auditing, and system development.

Certifications: Preferred in FSSC 22000, BRCGS.Soft Skills: Strong communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills.

Work Timings: 8am-5pm
