Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field (CA trainee/part-qualified, ACCA, or ICMA preferred).

Experience

2 to 3 years relevant experience in tax, audit, finance, or compliance (experience with Big 4 or MNC is an advantage).

Requirements

• Good knowledge of Pakistan tax laws including Income Tax, Federal Sales Tax on goods, Provincial Sales Tax on services, withholding taxes, and payroll taxation.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Good communication skills (oral and written) with the ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
• Eagerness to learn and grow under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and filing monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns including SRB & BRA sales tax, withholding statements, and corporate tax returns.
• Support preparation and submission of quarterly advance income tax workings and filings.
• Maintain accurate records of tax filings, assessments, and correspondence.
• Prepare notifications and undertakings for vendors to facilitate fiscal benefits.
• Liaise with vendors on fiscal benefits queries.
• Review payroll tax calculations for local and expatriate employees.
• Support NTN registration and annual tax filings for expatriates.
• Maintain employee tax compliance records and coordinate with tax consultants.
• Support Customs team with fiscal incentives under Foreign Investment Act 2022.
• Assist in responding to routine tax queries from internal stakeholders.
