Taxation Manager

Salim Winding Works (Pvt.) Ltd., a well-established manufacturing and import-based group of companies, is seeking an experienced Taxation Manager to lead and stabilize its tax and regulatory function.

This is a senior, hands-on role reporting directly to the Owner, responsible for end-to-end preparation, submission, coordination, and compliance across Income Tax and Sales Tax.

The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with strong exposure to manufacturing, FBR audits, and documentation, capable of managing a small team and bringing structure, control, and timely compliance to the group.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

• Manage complete Income Tax, Sales Tax and Withholding Tax compliance.
• Prepare and submit tax returns, statements, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Handle audit preparation, DCIR cases, show-cause notices, and proceedings support (file preparation and coordination).
• Oversee PSW & WeBOC related taxation, GD documentation, and import-stage tax matters.
• Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual statutory filings.
• Design and strengthen tax controls, documentation systems, and compliance calendars.
• Lead and supervise 1–2 tax/accounts juniors, with scope to build a larger team.
• Prepare structured tax reports for management and highlight risk areas, exposures, and opportunities.

🔹 Required Profile

• Qualification: CA / ACCA / MBA (Finance/Tax) with strong practical taxation experience
• Experience: 6–10 years in a manufacturing or import-based organization
• Strong command over:
• Income Tax Ordinance & Rules
• Sales Tax
• Withholding Tax
• Audit & DCIR handling
• PSW & WeBOC (Import Taxation)
• Proficient in Excel and ERP systems
• Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and lead a small team
• Corporate mindset with strong documentation and compliance discipline

🔹 Work Details

📍 Location: Ameer Khusro Road, Karachi

🕘 Timings: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

💼 Employment Type: Full-time

💰 Salary: Market Competitive (commensurate with experience and capability)

🔹 Role Objective (First 90 Days)

To catch up, regularize, and systemize all tax compliance, audit documentation, and statutory filings across the group, and establish strong control and reporting mechanisms.
