Tea Boy

The Tea Boy at The D'Hamidi Partnership plays a vital role in maintaining a pleasant and professional environment by preparing and serving tea and English coffee to employees and guests. This position ensures that the pantry, kitchen area, and serving tools are kept clean, organized, and well-stocked to support the smooth operation of the office. The employee follows strict hygiene and safety standards to provide a safe and sanitary environment. In addition to beverage preparation, the Tea Boy assists with basic office cleanliness and communicates replenishment needs to management promptly. This role requires at least three years of experience and is ideal for an individual who is diligent, organized, and attentive to detail. The position does not involve managing a team but demands excellent personal responsibility and dedication to workplace upkeep.
Responsibilities
 

• Prepare and serve tea and English coffee to employees and guests promptly and courteously.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pantry, kitchen area, and serving utensils at all times.
• Refill pantry and kitchen supplies regularly and report any shortages or issues to management.
• Assist with maintaining basic office cleanliness, including waste disposal and surface cleaning.
• Adhere strictly to workplace hygiene and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for all.
• Monitor inventory levels of tea, coffee, and related supplies to avoid disruptions.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of food and beverage items to maintain quality and safety standards.
• Coordinate with other office staff to schedule pantry cleaning and restocking efficiently.
• Support office staff by promptly responding to beverage and pantry-related needs throughout the workday.
• Report any maintenance issues or health and safety hazards in pantry and kitchen areas immediately.
