This role is ideal for former corporate treasurers or cash management specialists who want to oversee liquidity strategies and banking relationships for multiple companies on a part-time, project-based, or advisory retainer basis.

Key responsibilities may include:

• Cash Forecasting: Developing and maintaining highly accurate rolling cash flow models to ensure the business always has sufficient operational liquidity.
• Banking Relations: Managing global bank account structures, opening new entities, and negotiating optimal fee schedules and service agreements.
• Risk Management: Designing and executing strategies to mitigate foreign exchange volatility and interest rate exposure across global operations.
• Working Capital Optimization: Partnering with accounting and operations teams to accelerate receivables, optimize payables, and shorten the cash conversion cycle.
• Investment Strategy: Managing excess cash reserves to maximize yield while adhering strictly to the company’s capital preservation policies.
• Debt Administration: Overseeing the administration of credit facilities, tracking debt schedules, and ensuring strict compliance with all financial covenants.
• Control & Governance: Establishing robust internal controls over wire transfers, payment approvals, and broad treasury operations to prevent fraud.
• Trade Finance: Structuring and managing the necessary financial instruments and guarantees required to secure large vendor contracts or international shipments.

Required qualities may include:

• Proven Experience: Background in Corporate Treasury, Cash Management, or Commercial Banking within complex or international environments.
• Analytical Mastery: Exceptional financial modeling skills with a specific focus on predictive cash flow rather than just profitability.
• Risk Fluency: Deep technical understanding of hedging instruments, foreign exchange dynamics, and macro-economic rate environments.
• Negotiation Skills: The ability to confidently secure favorable credit terms, facilities, and fee reductions from major financial institutions.
• Precision: Absolute attention to detail and zero tolerance for error when governing the movement of significant capital.
• Strategic Foresight: The ability to anticipate liquidity crunches months in advance and advise the C-Suite on funding options.
• Credentials: Professional designations in treasury or corporate finance are highly valued.
