Video Editor & Motion Designer

The NexGen is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor & Motion Designer to join our dynamic team. This role requires expertise in Adobe After Effects, Adobe Media Encoder, and a strong understanding of YouTube video styles to produce high-quality and engaging content specifically tailored for the platform. The ideal candidate possesses proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and CapCut, with experience in various YouTube formats such as vlogs, documentaries, faceless videos, cashcow channels, and reels. They must demonstrate a keen ability to incorporate advanced motion graphics and visual effects that captivate viewers and elevate the channel's visual appeal. In this position, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in the content production pipeline by applying creative editing techniques aligned with current YouTube trends and retention strategies. The role demands excellent time management skills to meet tight deadlines and work effectively under pressure. While this position does not involve managing a team, the candidate must exhibit strong collaboration skills, working closely with other content creators and stakeholders to ensure video projects meet quality standards and audience expectations.
Responsibilities
 

• Edit and assemble raw footage into polished videos that align with The NexGens content style and brand guidelines.
• Create advanced motion graphics, animated text, video intros, and outros using Adobe After Effects to enhance visual storytelling.
• Incorporate trending YouTube editing techniques focused on audience retention and engagement.
• Produce a variety of video formats including vlogs, documentaries, faceless presentations, cashcow content, and reels tailored for YouTube audiences.
• Apply visual effects (VFX) to create compelling and dynamic video content that stands out on the platform.
• Use Adobe Media Encoder to export videos with optimal settings for YouTube ensuring quality and fast upload times.
• Collaborate closely with the content team to understand project requirements and deliver videos that meet creative goals and timelines.
• Maintain a consistent publishing schedule by managing multiple projects efficiently under tight deadlines.
• Stay updated on the latest developments in YouTube trends and editing software to continuously improve the quality of video production.
• Review and revise edited videos based on feedback to ensure the final product meets high standards of visual and narrative quality.
