Web3 Investment Analyst

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Web3 Investment Analyst to join our team. In this role, you’ll dive into the fast-paced world of early-stage Web3 deals, reviewing a high volume of opportunities, assessing the strength of founders, and evaluating the strategic direction of their projects. You’ll also take an active role in builder communities, proactively hunting for the best talent and building a robust network of innovators. We’re looking for someone energetic, upright, and eager to grow—who thrives on connecting with builders and spotting high-potential deals.

Key Responsibilities:

Review Early-Stage Deals: Assess early-stage Web3 projects to identify promising opportunities.
Assess Founders: Quickly evaluate the strength and potential of founders or cofounders, gauging their ability to execute and succeed.
Evaluate Project Direction: Determine if the strategic direction of projects aligns with market trends and makes sense for long-term impact.
Engage with Communities: Actively participate in builder communities—online and offline—to hunt for top Web3 talent and stay ahead of emerging trends.
Build a Network: Develop and maintain strong relationships with founders, developers, and builders across the Web3 ecosystem.
Collaborate: Work closely with the investment team to share insights and recommendations on potential investments.
Stay Current: Keep a pulse on the latest Web3 technologies, trends, and developments to inform your assessments.
Required Qualifications:

Analytical Prowess: Strong skills in quickly analyzing early-stage deals and founder capabilities.
Web3 Expertise: Deep knowledge of the Web3 ecosystem, including blockchain, decentralized tech, and emerging innovations.
Networking Skills: Exceptional ability to connect with people, build relationships, and proactively engage with builder communities.
Energy & Integrity: High energy, an upright character, and a genuine passion for personal and professional growth.
Adaptability: Comfortable thriving in a fast-moving environment, juggling multiple priorities with ease.
Communication: Clear and concise in sharing insights and articulating deal assessments.
Preferred Qualifications:

Language: English and Chinese. 
Experience in venture capital, startups, or early-stage investing.
Technical knowledge of blockchain, cryptography, or related fields.
A proven history of spotting successful early-stage projects or builders.
An existing network or presence in Web3 builder communities.
