The individuals who fulfill the below basic-eligibility criteria may apply for the following position:

Position / Job Title:
Wing Head - Capital Planning & Model Risk (VP / SVP)

Reporting to:

Divisional Head - Enterprise Risk Management Department

Educational /Professional Qualification:

Minimum Graduation or equivalent preferably in Statistics / Finance / Economics / Actuarial Sciences from a local / international university / college / institute recognized by HEC of Pakistan

• Candidate having a first class Bachelors or a Masters degree and / or any other relevant professional certification(s) will be an added advantage

Experience:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in a Financial Institution and / or Audit Firm out of which 04 years in enterprise risk management, preferably in risk assessment and / or capital planning and / or model risk management

Other Skills / Expertise / Knowledge Required:

Excellent analytical skills with an aptitude for quantitative analysis

Awareness of economic factors and their linkages / interrelationships

Good knowledge of risk, controls and regulatory requirements

• Good leadership, communication and presentation skills

Outline of Main Duties / Responsibilities:

To develop and / or update enterprise risk management framework, stress testing framework and model risk framework

To develop and / or update policies and procedures related to internal credit rating, IFRS-9 and other risk models

To prepare annual and periodic Internal Capital Adequacy & Assessment Process (ICAAP)

To develop and / or update Risk Appetite Framework (RAF) and Risk Appetite Statement (RAS)

To develop and maintain annual recovery plan document in coordination with other stakeholders

To perform regulatory and proprietary stress tests for ICAAP and recovery plan in line with SBP stress testing guidelines

To prepare MIS for risk assessment and quantification and report the results to risk committees and relevant stakeholders

To perform periodic review of Capital Adequacy Ratio for management

To develop statistical models for risk assessment and measurement

To maintain strong working relationship with internal and external stakeholders

To perform any other assignment as assigned by the supervisor(s)

Employment Type:

The employment will be on contractual basis for three years which may be renewed ondiscretion of the Management. Selected candidates will be offered compensationpackage and other benefits as per Banks Policy / rules.
