The Zonal Sales Manager at Agay Barho is responsible for driving sales performance and achieving recovery targets within the assigned zone. This role focuses on developing and executing sales strategies, maintaining key client relationships, and ensuring consistent business growth by expanding market presence and exploring new opportunities. The position demands a highly organized individual with expertise in sales strategy development, market analysis, and customer relationship management, proficient in using CRM and ERP systems to maintain sales records and reports. Although this role does not include managing a team, the candidate will play a vital role in collaborating closely with the regional sales management and coordinating with internal departments to streamline sales processes and deliver excellent customer service. The ideal candidate possesses an MBA or an electrical engineering degree, coupled with at least 10 years of relevant sales experience. They demonstrate strong negotiation skills and the ability to conduct thorough market visits to engage current and prospective clients. Committed to staying informed on market trends and competitor activities, the Zonal Sales Manager supports strategic decision-making by providing up-to-date information and thorough sales projections. Furthermore, the role involves active participation in national industrial fairs and exhibitions to promote the brand within the industry, maintaining a proactive stance on product updates and customer communications to foster long-lasting professional relationships.
Responsibilities
 

  • Achieve and exceed annual, quarterly, and monthly sales and recovery targets within the assigned zone through effective sales planning and execution.
  • Coordinate with regional branch management for necessary approvals on discounts related to customer orders or inquiries.
  • Engage in daily market visits to meet clients, perform sales negotiations, and close deals to maximize sales revenue.
  • Provide accurate and timely quotations to prospective customers, ensuring consistent follow-up to support sales conversion.
  • Build and maintain strong, enduring relationships with existing clients by understanding their needs and providing reliable solutions.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities by generating leads and exploring untapped markets within the zone.
  • Stay updated on product portfolios, enhancements, and company developments to communicate relevant information to clients proactively.
  • Collaborate effectively with factory operations on pending orders to ensure timely fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
  • Address customer inquiries promptly and resolve any complaints with priority to maintain high customer service standards.
  • Participate in national industrial fairs and exhibitions as required to promote the company brand and engage potential clients in partnership with the marketing team.
  • Conduct ongoing analysis of market trends and competitor activities related to sales strategies, product offerings, pricing, and branding to inform regional business decisions.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate sales records through the ERP system, tracking progress from lead identification to invoice generation.
  • Prepare comprehensive sales and recovery reports, projections, and budget plans for review on a regular basis, presenting findings to regional sales leadership.
  • Ensure regular updating and accuracy of performance management systems relevant to sales activities and outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with zonal and regional sales personnel to discuss daily work plans and devise effective approaches for target attainment.
